Julien Riad Sahyoun launched during London Fashion Week SS17 with the ‘Just’ collection, including three ranges - Just Revolution Skin, Just Rebel Star and Just Radiant Sun. The collection is elegant as well as edgy, blending bold precious metals and subtle styling.
Julien Sahyoun, founder of Julien Riad Sahyoun, has created an opulent giraffe mask, embellished with gold leaf, named Inho. “Elegance is key to all of my designs and there is no animal more elegant than the giraffe” said Julien. “The mask has been inspired by one of my latest jewellery collections, Just Revolution Skin, which communicates the solidarity of love and unity of all cultures. This vision echoes the Elephant Family’s mission to protect and unite nature’s greatest masterpieces.”
The Inho masks, donated and designed by Julien, will be purchased as a ticket to The Animal Ball for £2,000 and will provide the guest access to an exclusive dining experience at Alfred Dunhill’s private members club in Mayfair, followed by the Ball at Victoria House. The Animal Ball aims to raise over £2 million to donate to five causes; The Elephant Family, The Aspinall Foundation, Space for Giants,Lion Guardians and Save the Rhino.
Julien’s love for elephants as well as giraffes developed from being a small child and discovering amazing landscapes and wildlife. Julien is honoured to be working with The Elephant Family and commented, “Designing this mask has been a lot offun and it is so nice to do it for such a beautiful and meaningful cause.” The mask will be on display for public viewing alongside 39 luxury fashion designers at the V&A for two weeks from Wednesday 26th October to Wednesday 9th November 2016.
